Good choice of words. Stewy may have looked strong at the beginning of the year. But production was not happening behind our line most of the year. And he got more touches because DWill was injured.

You watched the games. Our running game was abysmal for most of the year. Trying to blame that on DWill is a weak argument.

 

 

Yes, Cam, Stewart, Fozzy, Tolbert, drafted RB......isn't a bad rush attack.

Not sure the fixation with a 32 yr old RB is

Some of us want Cam to run less. We also don't know enough about Fozzy to be all agog over him. So yeah, a running corp with a drafted RB over DWill, is scary to some of us. You have to be really optimistic to think that Stewy and a couple other guys will get it done.

If something were to happen to Stewy, again. I would rather have DWill than some rookie, and a very unknown Fozzy.

If DWill is around next year, I will be happy. If he is gone, I ain't gonna be mad. I am going to be worried. I know what I am going to get with DWill, not so much from anyone else.

IMO, I would like to see what he has left. So...if Gman decides to keep him, I am a happy guy. If we decide to part ways, I am going to be a worried guy. And I hate worrying.

IDK why people hate him so much either. He's not like Sean Gilbert, who got money and did nothing. DeAngelo has done his job. His contract sucks, but so do a lot of our players.

As for seeing what's left, same here. His 2013 season, all things considered, was pretty good, and I think he still has some speed left. I really don't think he's that bad.

Unless a RB retires early.....you DON'T want a RB to be a "career" player for your team

And all rumors suggests Williams isn't this loved dude that some fans seem to think he is...he just has hired people that make him attractive to fans from a social media stand point

He's a father who has a good relationship with his fans and a leading breast cancer awareness activist unless I get some sources for what you're claiming here.

Cutting him is better for business but let's not run the man's name into the ground while we're at it. He's one of the best role models the franchise has had.

Completely agree. Fozzy only did real work against backups when scores were way lopsided, and I don't trust Stew's ankles to get us to a 3rd story apartment.

There are a number of stop-gap cheap RBs who will hit free agency. Bilal Powell, Darren McFadden, Jacquizz Rodgers, Shane Vereen... that's one of the easiest spots to fill, no need to use a draft pick unless there's a big time talent hanging around the late rounds.

Not true.

For example look at the last postseason win in franchise history. Carolina down in the 3rd quarter. Boom. Fozzy. TD. Game over. Carolina wins first playoff game since 2005.
