Would you be okay with Charles Tillman?

I guess my first wisdom is if you see the Panthers as a super bowl contender, and I do. But if that answer is a yes, do you think Charles Tillman is a good nickel corner, or allows Bene to play nickel for a couple years.

I know we have had problems with people that are aging, Like Harper and Decoud. So do you think this guy still has some gas left in the tank?

I wouldn't compare Tillman with Harper.  Tillman is an all-time great in the secondary.  Plus he is a turnover machine.  As for getting speed in the secondary, as for as our young starters, we have more than enough speed.  I would plug Tillman at safety however.

Speed isnt a necessity IMO, schemes and playing within the scheme helps mask it. Bene is slow and he does well, but it wouldnt hurt to have some speed guys over the top.

Buster Skrine is the guy that we should be targeting.  Young, good, with yet untapped upside who should be relatively cheap to sign.

Slow secondary in a pass happy NFL doesn't work at all. If anything we need to be looking for a young fast safety to replace grandpa Harper.
