Worth noting that he is an RFA, the Raiders will get the opportunity to match any offer sheet he receives from other teams.

 

 

Usually in this scenario the offer comes from a division opponent trying to drive the price up.  Just not sure Holmes is that prized of a receiver.  

 

If we did make an offer it would be one the raiders in their situation could easily match.  You don't use the RFA tag on a player you have zero interest with.

 

I think Gettleman moves faster than this would take and would not waste energy here.

True on strategy, but I just feel that if a team moves fast on Holmes it will be a division team trying to fug with the raiders.  Just on value I don't see Holmes as one of the top FA WR targets.
