As a #2, Crabtree would be nice. As much as we need speed, he is a very, very good route runner (something we really don't have) and good enough hands. Plus he'd be one of the cheaper options. Good value if we can get him cheap.

Crabtree was pretty bad last year in the middle of the season.

Overall PFF ranks him in the bottom 20% of receivers.

C'mon man. It's not on point to say every player that a team lets walk is worthless. We just let 2 1,000 yard receivers walk. Desean Jackson walked... Demarcus Ware walked.... Darrelle Revis walked... Cromartie walked....

He's behind Britt for me. Britt's quicker, younger and he's likely to be cheaper. Plus we get two KB's on the team, which can only be a good thing.

From 2010-13 they put up some great numbers, so did Crabtree in 2010-12. 2013 he was injured and 2014 he regressed.

It would literally be like signing Cotchery mark 2 but for twice as much.

Like I said, I'm not saying it's a good idea, I just think it would be interesting.

Crabtree would fit into this offense really well as a second or third option. If G-man can see the value, then I am on board 100%. Acquiring Crabtree would not be another case of scraping the barrel like we did last year with Avant and Underwood.
