They had a ton of recieving options last year and they are a run first team...I imagine there just wasn't enough targets to go around.  Crabtree can make plays and if we were to sign him we'd have the best duo of recievers we've had since the 2008 season.

Idk how I feel about it, but I will say this. Sometimes a "mediocre" player is labeled because he's in a mediocre offense. We've never seen him in another system so we really don't know what he's capable of. It would be interesting

From 2010-13 they put up some great numbers, so did Crabtree in 2010-12. 2013 he was injured and 2014 he regressed.

It would literally be like signing Cotchery mark 2 but for twice as much.

I think that's the difficult part is determining his actual worth. I think he'd be an awesome #2 for our team. Unfortunately, there are a lot of bad teams with a lot of cap space that will over pay for mid level talent.
