The Bears beat reporter for ESPN has Perriman in his "Bears' Top-10 list for No. 7 pick" (most of whom are pass rushers), writing:

"Would be ironic if the Bears replaced one former Central Florida wide receiver (Brandon Marshall) with another, but..the Bears clearly have a need at receiver, and the preference is the find a taller pass-catcher to compliment Alshon Jeffery and Eddie Royal ... teams cannot ignore Perriman’s size and top-end speed ... Perriman’s combination of size and speed are ridiculous ... Perriman’s upside is enticing."
