I feel that Mariota will be the better NFL QB. Winston has potential but his off field issues along with his 18 interceptions last year makes me think bust.

Guessing this time of year is pretty inaccurate anyhow.

Yeah but the previous year he didn't have neat as many ints, and despite the picks I've never seen Jamies put his head down he just moves on like they never happened.

Both are good NFL prospects, but the upside here is that Mariota is rawer than Winston (whose very well prepared for the pro game) and I fully have faith in Lovie Smith to drop the ball in his development.

 

Is Lovie Smith the General Manager as well? I didn't know he had that much control in Tampa.

Just my opinion but i believe that TB makes a mistake if they select Marcus Mariota over Jameis Winston. I feel the character issue situation surrounding Winston is overblown and from all i have seen and heard about him, his QB  skillset translaates better to the NFL than Mariota's.

Jameison passes the eye test, always has. if he can stay in shape, he looks like the real thing. no reason why Rowrhlesberger isn't a good ceiling and comparison.

They may be bluffing to get Chip to trade the house for Mariota, but they would have given Glennon more shots than he did last year if he was their guy.
