Has Voth changed his opinion of Hardy's future?

It was a paid suspension not a paid vacation.

The exempt list is for the NFL to stash you away so they don't have deal with constant media attack that the player is still active.

The NFL will try to suspend him but t will go to the courts which Hardy will win.

AP pled no contest. Which is why the NFL ultimately suspended him. Because he admitted guilt and only wanted to trial to move faster so he could be back on the field.

Hardy has retained his innocence throughout the process.

The NFL suspension will not stick.

Nope, not at all. I expected him to take the money and party, which he did.

Then again, I'm not the one trying to argue paid leave is punishment.

It's all about future earnings for young players..  especially ones that are looking for long term mega contracts.

He might get 2 games at the most but the NFLPA has a firm base to fight a suspension for Greg because he retained his innocence. .

Some of you have a hard time distinguishing between what I want and how things are.

I want Hardy back.

But I am being completely reasonable in viewing how the NFL will treat this.

How bout this. :)

I bet you my all-pro membership money that he does not get suspended more than two games.

If I win you refund my money but I get to keep access until my current subscription ends, then I have to pay to renew

You win I will donate additional all-pro money to the site or tailgate

One caveat is it has to be what punishment is after all appeals.

You down?

the people not wanting to admit that HRdy and the Panthers got screwed by a false accuser and bs incident are the same posters that didn't want him on the team as a franchise player in the first place.

Not necessarily true. I was against the idea of a 1 year rental for $13 million because I thought the money could have better been spent elsewhere, and felt that way before he ever got into trouble.

Now, the situation is different. If he would play for somewhere below market on a prove it deal I'd be all for it. Hardy and the Panthers have both gotten the shaft on this because of Rodger G.'s incompetent handling of the Ray Rice mess. Many, many players have done worse things than Greg with far fewer consequences.

Greg is no choir boy and never will be. CJ, one of our captains, has been known to be a party animal and womanizer. Beason, a former captain, punched a guy out at the club. We all know about Smitty. Greg's incident came at the worst possible time and he and the Panthers paid the price.

If I were JR, the opinion of the players and coaches would have an impact on my decision. I especially would want to know more about the guns. That is potentially far more damning to me than what apparently transpired between him and Nicloe.
