Huddle Mod Semi-Finalists Announced

Jeremy Igo

Recommended Posts

Thank you to everyone that applied for the Huddle Mod position. In my book, you are all winners.

(not really)

I have plugged all of the data and ran it through the proprietary Huddle Mod Algorithm. What came out was a list of the most qualified Huddlers that ever huddled the huddle.

The Huddle Mod Semi - Finalists are:

Inimicus

L-TownCat

RoaringRiot

Monsta

Ivan the Awesome

Lola

Arsen

Starting now, and in the coming days, I will be randomly posting challenges to these individuals.

Your first challenge is this....

Provide for us your vision of the Huddle 5 years from now.

Attention Huddlers, as the Huddle citizenry, you are obliged to pie their responses accordingly based on content and timeliness. For a quality mod is not only fair, but ever present on the huddle. In other words, the exact opposite of our current mods except for Rayzor.

Begun, the Huddle Games have.

You are so full of poo Igo.

On another note I don't know how RR isn't a mod already. Should have happened a while ago. Monsta, Lola and Arsen also have my vote. The rest are great Huddlers as well though. Decisions, decisions...

The Huddle will be even mightier in five years time, And there shall in that time be rumours of things going astray, and there will be a great confusion as to where things really are, and nobody will really know where lieth those little things with the sort of raffia work base, that has an attachment…at this time, a friend shall lose his friends’s hammer and the young shall not know where lieth the things possessed by their fathers that their fathers put there only just the night before around eight o’clock...

How many of these 7 will be mods?

was hoping for Cary Kollins, but I feel Monsta would be a very good mod. L-townCat is cool too. He was in on the uni vote..

and Roaring Riot would be great too. seems like hes all over Charlotte sports, not just the panthers. I can speak for myself when I say he is very generous to fellow fans. he'd be a good solid representation of who a mod should be. Serving to make this a better place.

Monsta

Roaring Riot

L-townCat

no order

It's not a lie...

...if YOU believe it.

You should know I have Jeremy's ear as well as some scandalous videos from a "Boys Gone Wild" venture that went under. Roaring Riot is actually making a Huddle travel package especially for me for Jacksonville next season. So if only one mod is being chosen here you have some serious competition. If you want my endorsement you need to do something spectacular.

    • I didn't hold my tongue...I was out on Bryce LONG before he was drafted by the Panthers. Bryce's game did not translate well to the NFL. I vividly remember the 2022 Texas vs. Alabama game as the prime example of why Bryce would never translate well to the NFL. That was one of the best defeses Alabama played that season, a big chunk of players from that Texas defense are playing in the NFL now, and Bryce struggled all game. If Quinn Ewers didn't get hurt in that game, Texas would have won and the entire Bryce narrative changes.  If anyone wants a reminder, here's the highlights of the game. He looks like EXACTLY the same QB now. Nothing has changed.
    • Did they have a backup QB active who has a "broken thumb' on his throwing hand?  Yeah that's on Dave too. Im not even sure they had another active option or why Dalton isn't on IR yet still.
    • There is something quite similar though about the losses to the Cardinals and Saints. The blowouts tell me something different - I think the team losses confidence against complete teams rapidly.  That is a coaching aspect, but also young players.  Tbh, I can live with that for now if they beat the teams they're supposed to and give a good fight in other games (as they did). But the Cardinals and Saints games were stories of the offense either giving the game away or being unable to do ... Well, anything. While that is on Canales, too, both those games also featured standout (or truthfully standard) performances from our QB early and sometimes across the entire game. I do think it's hard to evaluate Canales when he has a QB that can't or won't execute an NFL offense for huge stretches or entire games. But there are signs of concern. Still, the very fact we had a win streak being a predictable as we were indicates the team has come along. And most of the team showed up vs the Saints, and I really think it's clear that was an incredibly winnable game with a different QB.
