I am not going to bash the Jest's front office-it was a calculated risk (I don't remember the trade details, but I think they got him cheap compared to what the Seahawks paid).  They knew what they were getting, I guess they figured Rex could fix him.

Rex Ryan 'fixing' somebody is an amusing concept.

Folks, I do not see how Seattle can sustain their winning ways with the free spending they have demonstrated over the past 2-3 seasons, I would swear Desperate Hurney has moved to the Pacific Northwest and assumed another identity to protect him from the skinning he is due in Carolina.  If you consider the Lynch offer, the other contracts recently signed, the promise to pay Wilson $25m, and the Harvin deal, you have to wonder, WTF is going on there.  Here is a link that puts that deal into perspective.  WOW.

Everyone keeps talking like the Seahawks are going to lose so much because they are "cap strapped" when in reality they have a lot more money to burn than 75% of the other teams in the league.

They might run into cap problems one day but whatever they are doing is working because they have the money to retain the players they want and also be active in free agency this year.
