Carolina Will Select Cameron Erving With #25

If this guy is there at 25, hes a panther.  I will wager any amount of Arsens money to prove it.  Carolina needs a LT and this guy was born to be an LT and will be staring carolina in the eye sitting there waiting at #25.  He has very little downside.  2 Cams cant be bad, right?  Not to mention, this guy can play center.  Thats a huge plus for any LT.  Having protected the #1 QB and most likely #1 over all pick, Jameis Winston, Erving finally gives Cam some decent protection.

this thought has been creeping in for a few days. For reals.

I'd be shocked if DET grabbed him in Round 1. Absolutely shocked.(but happy because that's one more player that could slide to us). I guess we will see Thursday.

Yeah I don't see it, but it makes some sense because they need help all over their line and he can play all 5 positions so he could just slot into whatever they decide their weakness is. It gives them a lot of options to construct the best possible line which would be an attractive option.

DEN makes more sense.

He looked good at LT but I wonder if he will repeat that in the pros? I thought he'd be best inside.

Dude played Defensive Tackle, transitioned to LT then moved to C...  He's raw but talented and might not be ready to be Day 1 starter.  Projected to be mid to late 2nd day pick.

DRAFT PROJECTION

 Round 2

SOURCES TELL US  "He plays tough, but I wouldn't call him an intimidator out there. He's a work in progress, but he's going to keep getting better as he learns how to play center." -- ACC defensive line coach NFL COMPARISON  Eric Wood BOTTOM LINE  Former defensive lineman who is still learning the nuances of offensive-line play after just two seasons as a starter. Has the length and foot quickness to play tackle, but film work shows that he will have a much more successful career at center. Possesses skill set and temperament to show rapid development. Could be a Day 1 starter, but a year of seasoning would help.

PS: He got destroyed by Beasley and struggles against fast DE's.  He plays to tall....
