I did that 10 years ago and I still get brownie points for it. She's kinda sentimental about stuff like that so I don't have to do it every year. 

 

Edit: I guess you could always rent The Notebook and when she isn't looking use an eyedropper to shed a tear.

They have one in Davidson(naturally) and one in Dilworth. I started getting stuff from them several years ago, and everything has been great. It's made fresh, packaged well and looks a hell of a lot better than a Whitman's sampler for about the same price. 

I priced out chocolate covered strawberries for this Valentine's and while Godiva charges $40 for a half dozen, Davidson charges $15.

But, I am going against my normal nothing and giving her gifts on the 14th... In her Valentines card is 2 tickets for 50 Shades of Grey, cause thats what she wants, and a hotel room key, cause thats what I want...

The wife and I agreed to no valentine's nonsense this year which I'm pumped about.

I will be buying candy and valentine's teddy bears for my kids though
