Jon Stewart retiring from Daily Show

I heard Stewart is seriously considering a directing career but at the same time he says he's tired of the entertainment life. He might just take a few years off to be a full time father and then come back in some form.

Heard the same and his quote last night sheds light on it a bit.

"I've got a lot of things in my head. I'm going to have dinner on a school night with my family, who I have heard from multiple sources are lovely people."

Not sure if they plan on continuing the show or not but is Craig Kilborn still alive? Haven't seen him in anything for awhile but I wonder if they would bring him back?

He is polarizing and many don't agree with his politics, but him retiring is a loss for America.

I'll miss him. I watch Bill Maher, Jon Stewart, and I guess anything that's considered a "liberal show" but I could name a number of times I've cut them off because they've had an opinion I didn't like. For Jon Stewart it was right after Sandy Hook when he went on his anti gun tirade.

To me Stewart is 10 times more watchable than Maher.
