Marvel and Sony Finally Agree - Spider-Man

I think they should just skip a Spider-Man origin series, we've seen it enough times now, EVERYONE know about him.  Just mention him as being there and fighting crime or whatever.

Having him and Hulk on the screen will be amazing.  I wish Spidey would have been in Avengers but this is amazing news.

Yeah as others have said, this is the biggest news since Marvel announced plans for "The Avengers".

From what I've read, speculation is it'll be a "soft reboot". I guess that means it won't be getting into the gritty details that we've already seen twice in the last ten years.  I've also read they may cast someone young, maybe 19, which would play well with the older, more estalibhsed Avengers.

Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield aren't "nerdy"? Who else considered these two guys to be "good looking and fit"?

Spider-Man has to be in shape, regardless.

Tobey Macguire was good. Garfield was a pretty boy and I didn't enjoy his portrayal.

They are going back to young highschool peter. The new Spiderman movie will have lots of highschool scenes in it, ao that's why they are rebooting the character again.

Marvel wants young highschool kid spiderman.

I'd imagine it has less to do with wanting to redo an origin story and more with wanting to have the young weirdo kid on the grown up Avengers squad.

Peter got his powers when he was 15. Gives him a few years to grow into the role before we see him in his movie.

I'm sketical we get yet another origin story.

Not sure what the plan is exactly, just know it's a complete reboot, Marvel wants a younger highschool Parker, so the new Spiderman movies will have school elements and crime fighting at night.
