Notable NFL writer, Jason Cole: "Extremely unlikely" Hardy is suspended. Rivera wants him back.

I see both of your sides. Jeremy does tend to scoff at anyone who has a different opinion than him. Rubs people the wrong way. On the other hand the odds are stacked against Hardy. I still believe "personally" that he will be retained.

Sorry if I come across that way. It's not intentional.

Can we hug it out at some point?

Please tell me who the named sources are that are presented in this video you think so highly of in the op.

i already stated that the sources were unnamed, but sources nevertheless.  You can believe what you like, but I don't believe that Jason Cole would talk out of his ass if it weren't true.  He specifically intimated that you can't dismiss a Hardy to Carolina return out of hand notwithstanding reports to the contrary, and that Rivera was going to speak to that end, based upon his sources. I believe him.  If you don't, fine.

Just caught that, I deleted my post before u posted this. It's all good.

I'll stick with what the team has told me and the other local guys who I see all the time at the stadium, in the locker room, post game pressers, etc. I've never seen BR represented in any capacity there, so I think it's understandable I don't weigh their pieces as heavily.

My jimmies remain unrustled. I never say no to a good cuddle though. I think you do come off that way to some people and that might explain the recent hostility. Not to mention the fact your taking the Huddle in the right direction and people don't like change. You made some enemies with the all pro feature. Watch your back Igo. I'll protect you the best I can from up here but these e-thugs can be ruthless.

I love this part of the off season when everyone is a *****. You would think some people would be happy that Hardy might be back.

I don't think anybody's 'happy' about the notion of him being gone. Personally I'm reminded of when we lost Kris Jenkins. But like with Jenkins, a lot of the bridges were already burned.

Bottom Line: I'm not looking at it emotionally because the guy making the decisions won't let emotions factor in. And honestly, that's the way it should be.

Personally I love Hardy. It's not just about his talent either. He takes his pride to another level and it's something this team can feed off of. Granted the defense is fine without him I hope a deal can be reached

I love everything about Hardy, except his proclivity towards poo.  If you play in enough of it, it will hit the fan.

He needs to grow up and get as serious with his personal life as he is his professional life.  He is an intelligent guy.  Hardy would probably have no parts of this, but I wish that one of the guys would hook him up with a more down to earth woman, that he would get cuffed, and leave the bachelor life behind.

Sometimes a good woman is the best thing to settle an unstable guy.  He needs a calming effect off the field, and focus all of his unused energy towards sacking the quarterback.  He is at a crossroads, and regardless if he is a Panther or not, I hope the young guy internalizes the fact that being a professional football player (or anything really) entails being responsible on and off the field.

honestly, whether he was guilty or not is irrelevant to me. for all we are concerned he is just another free agent available to fill holes on our roster. i'd much rather spend that money on a middling offense in desperate need of talent than a defense that was ranked 2nd in the league without him.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but we were 2nd with hardy. Without him we were 10th. I see now scenario where hardy doesn't provide a substantial improvement to our d

But we came in at #10, PhillyB, which is still damned good considering where we were.  Of course that means we were pretty much balling late in the season, and might have well been ranked number 2 for that period, so I get your point.  I just think that it would be counterproductive to look a gift horse in the mouth.  If circumstances bring about a good deal---one year prove it, or not---then I think that we'd have a more to gain than just filling a hole in the roster, especially considering another strong class at WR (and, purportedly, OT). But, like you suggested, the money spent could go a ways toward solving some holes on offense.
