Edit: As such, anyone should understand why an old RB who is not essential to the team would never be tagged.

 

We want to save money, not increase D-Will's cap number.  If we cut him this year post June 1, we can save $2 mil from what I have read.

Yeah, I'm seeing that. Hardy can refuse to sign an exclusive but not a non-exclusive. We can get picks for him if someone offers a better deal. Sean Gilbert was last player to have that happen
