Will Steve Smith affect Torry Smith's opinion of signing with the Panthers?

Either is Smitty IMO. He averages about 6 TD's a season. Only 1 year ever over 10 TD's in a season. Now Benji, he's a redzone target. 11 TD's his rookie year and we all saw how many more he shoulda/coulda had.

We need someone with deep speed to take the top off, Torrey does that.

Agreed.

As KB gets more accustomed to the NFL game and continues to grow as a WR, I could see him eventually having a 20 TD season.  To put that into perspective, that would be the 3rd most TDs in a season by a WR in NFL history.  A break here and a break there and he could've put up 15 as a rookie.

If you included KB's post season td's you should also include Smith's 2003 postseason td's. Smith would have 2 seasons with 10 td's or more.

Fair enough. I shouldn't have included Benjis postseason TD's at all. I was stretching to make my point that Benji is a true redzone target due to his height. I didn't purposely leave out Smittys postseason stats, it's just that last year is still so fresh, my bad.

Still, Smitty still only averaged about 6 TD's a season. That's not a lot for a #1 receiver for 13 years or so. That's the point i'm really trying to make. Tolbert, Olsen and Benji are your redzone guys, plus Cam obviously.
