I hate idle speculation like this.  Just because this guy gets paid to put words on the site about the Panthers, he shouldn't be allowed to just randomly make poo up in order to reach his quota.  I can get that crap on here, not that theres anything wrong with that kind of thing on here.

Yeah... no.  I think Torrey Smith could likely outrun Brandon LaFell while backpedaling. 

 

I don't think he's an elite WR by any means, but he is what we need - SPEED.  I think he'd actually be a very nice compliment to KB.  I'm not sure what his market value will be.  I wouldn't want to invest a ton of guaranteed money.  He did have an 1100 yard season last year and though his yardage was down this year, his TDs were way up with 11.
