Would Ereck Flowers be a reach at 25?

From a fan's perspective, how would you feel about this o-line in August 2015

LT - Flowers 6'6" 325lbs

LG - Norwell 6'6" 310lbs

C - Kalil 6'2" 300lbs

RG - Turner 6'3" 320lbs

RT - Remmers 6'5" 300lbs

It'd all hinge on Flowers. But if this guy is really as talented as people say with franchise LT potential he isn't going to be there in the 20s. The only way he falls that far is if there are big question marks...which then makes you wonder if he'd be worth it.

Franchise LTs go in the top 10. Guys with franchise potential go in the top 20. RTs go where we are drafting.

I think your post needs to have the words "often", or "much of the time". But NOT always. Duane Brown was taken at 26 and Joe Staley was taken at 28.

I don't see us being able to spend the money to sign King Dunlap. Considering the OT market will be pretty shallow this offseason he will probably be overvalued. I believe Derek Newton would be a more affordable option and he can run block which is what our offense likes to do. I would honestly prefer us to sign 2 OT so we won't have to have a rookie start and have him learn on the bench. We also wouldn't have to reach for an OT if we do so.

Clemmings got beat like a drum on just about every inside move at the Senior Bowl. Looked very very raw.

I wouldn't touch him.

He scares me---so does Sambrailo.  I thought, after the SR bowl practices, that Clemmings and Sambralo would drop to third rounders.

The way I see it---

1. Scherff (top 12)

2. Peat (top 16)

3. Flowers (top 25)

4. Collins (top 25)

5. Fisher (top 40)

I don't know about anything else, but I'll say this.  If there's a guy sitting there at #25 who we think is a starting caliber NFL LT, just fuging take him.  I might bitch and moan about it if there's some other guy there who I really want, but trust me, I'll get over it and STFU if that guy becomes another Jordan Gross for us.
