Jordan Cameron wants out of CLE

I'd love to pair Cameron with Olsen. I think he'd be a great downfield threat for our offense.

However, I suspect he'll end up somewhere like Oakland and Jacksonville, teams with a ton of cap space and young QBs that they'll be looking to put weapons around. Plus, being a year removed from a Pro Bowl season I'm not sure he'll be open to taking a backseat to Olsen as the primary target at TE.

We do have a bit of a indirect connection to him as his brother, Colby, was in camp with us back in 2013. We'll see though.

So leave one shithole with a history of Losing, to head to a city/team with the same sorted history? I think he'll head to a team that gives him a shot at actually winning. Even if its for a slightly smaller contact.

Fair point but money talks and Oakland has a ton of it to throw around. Plus, he's a west coast guy.

Like I said, I'd love to him here but it may be a tough sell to get him here with another pro bowl TE on the roster.

You also have to remember concussions sometimes happen because poor QBs (in Cleveland, really????) throw poor passes which lead to having their receivers catch horribly placed balls in terrible situations to where then can get a concussion much easier then if a QB were there that can actually get them the ball at the right time/place.

And there is the problem...having 2 good TE with Chud at OC...good... 2 good TE with Shula at OC...a waste of a good TE...

I disagree. You have to consider a few things about this season before you diss on Shula not using our tight ends in the passing game.

First of all we have Ed Dickson not Jeremy Shockey. Sure Dickson has put up decent numbers as a receiver in the past but a lot of times he was the #1 TE not the backup.

We also had to use Dickson as a blocker because of our horrible offensive line. This took away his opportunity to catch passes. He also filled in for Tolbert at fullback. Give Shula a better offensive line and I can pretty much guarantee that our #2 tight end will put up better numbers.

When has Shula ever been a OC for a top 15 offense? ?

Sooner or later it's not the players ...it's the play caller..People keep giving Shula excuses for being what he has always been.. not a good OC..
