Dorial Green-Beckham: If he falls to us on the clock in 2nd

And he will dominate. Yall are judging him from mistakes he made as a adolescent. But him staying out of trouble for a year is a step in the right direction. But I don't know how often they drug test players who can't play.

I wasn't judging him, I like him a lot and would love to have him, but I believe we pass on him in the first allowing the Hawks to grab him.

Name 3 second round picks without concerns we have hit on in the last 10 years. Time to spot playing it safe and gamble on talent.

There are different levels of concerns and OGB has some major baggage for a 2nd round pick, which is why I believe we would draft a player without that kind of baggage.

I hope noone is blaming Hardy and supporting this pick?

Well that's really kind of my whole point. You have to judge each player individually.

Hardy is responsible for not seeing the bigger picture and definitely hurting the team this past season (as well as hurting himself, even if we don't necessarily see it yet).  Hardy is a pro, and as such he is held to the standards of a pro. He got his chance and has tainted his opportunity by getting into little trouble here and there, which culminated into big trouble.

Dorial Green-Beckham arguably deserves the same opportunity that Hardy and others have had. Will he appreciate his opportunity and get out of his own way? Who knows?  But at least he has seemingly learned from his mistakes judging by the better part of a year.

If it gets to that point and G-man pulls the trigger, then I will absolutely support the pick.  Until then, I really don't have any dog in the fight regarding DGB (or anyone else for that matter).

This is the new NFL.  No way you take a guy with this many flags in the early rounds.  All NFL teams should make a pact to let this kid go undrafted.  Let him work his way up so he can learn diligence.

What flags?  He never got sued for what he did, and he smoked weed and that's also off his record now.  We got the right leaders in the right place to set this kid up to prosper with Olsen, Thomas Davis, Harper, and Cotch.  No way he gets into trouble again if WE draft him.  Not even gonna mention how Cam will take him under his wing like he did Benji.  Kids wayyyyyy too talented to overlook in the first round, and people expect him to fall to the 2nd?  If hes mid 2nd round we need to trade up ASAP to get him.  Also, did everyone forget how he was on the practice squad for a whole year in Oklahoma and didn't get in trouble.  I'm talking NORMAN OKLAHOMA, that place isn't exactly Las Vegas.

Wasn't he involved in some sort of domestic dispute?  Also, what kind of crowd does he keep?  Of course managing to stay out of trouble for one year at college don't mean too much.  Once he makes it to the NFL, he will have money.  Money can buy a lot of things.

He was at one of the most prestigious football schools in the country, and DIDN'T get into trouble.  The domestic dispute that he never got sent to court for because the female never filed charges.  I graduate from OU, there isn't much to do there dude.  If you are looking for trouble, you can get into it easily.
