4 Things Greg Hardy Must Do to Remain a Panther

Because you don't make the team better when you're suspended.

If the team feels the risk of his being suspended again is too great (which, by all indications, they do) then they won't want him back.

Was he been suspended often before this?

Why would they feel that way? He played the first game so Panthers didn't even feel the need to suspend him this time

Posting here is irrelevant.

Verdict doesn't matter. Even if innocent he still shows poor judgement....the type that results in him screwing over his team. Which is what happened

and it isn't Hardy hate. It isn't being a Panther fan first. Not being a fan of individuals. Individuals come and go....this fanbase overall IMO gets too attached to players

This is an internet message board and, by definition, is rife with people judging others. It only gets even more ironic when those who do the judging and ranting page after page on this topic are also calling out people for becoming "too attached."

Best I can understand is a lot of people who claim to be done with Hardy and don't care about his future not with the Panthers are the same people who continue this topic page after page. So, who's "too attached?"

Personally, I hope Greg Hardy finds himself throughout this part of his life, if he hasn't already. I hope any future endeavor he pursues is successful, in pro football or wherever.

Mr. Scot...I've tried and I've tried and tried to explain it too him but he doesn't get it. He thinks I am passing judgement. Hell I've even implied to him I think Hardy is innocent and should sue the girl. Some people just don't get it.

Going off both Zod and Voth, that seems to be the feeling.

Why? I'd speculate that it's based on two things 1) history of poor judgment and 2) how he behaved after he was put on the exempt list.

I don't have inside info, so this is all speculation.

Well... if we only employ guys who date proper women and/or don't participate on social media we might have a hard time fielding a team

Let's keep it real, he's better than any defensive lineman on the team right now. His talent is undeniable and he performs good. Why do we not need him? I think we need anyone who'd make the team better

If you keep it real and go back to 2013....people moaned about Hardy going MIA like Peppers during that season. He had 10 of his 15 sacks 3 games.

Rather build a real secondary.

Chris Spielman said it best years ago.

All they're really asking of players is just don't get arrested.

Is that really such a difficult request?

Who is "they?"

According to the NFL Player Personnel Policy, no arrest is necessary for Goodell to act as judge and jury....

NFL Player Personnel Policy Manual:

EXEMPT LIST. The Exempt List is a special player status available to clubs only in unusual circumstances. The List includes those players who have been declared by the Commissioner to be temporarily exempt from counting within the Active List limit. Only the Commissioner has the authority to place a player on the Exempt List; clubs have no such authority, and no exemption, regardless of circumstances, is automatic. The Commissioner also has the authority to determine in advance whether a player's time on the Exempt List will be finite or will continue until the Commissioner deems the exemption should be lifted and the player returned to the Active List.

Big question would be for violent crime or non-violent.

(but given that this is a personal issue, I don't necessarily expect you to share that)

One of them was for punching a cop and was a similar level misdemeanor as Hardy.

Of course it was just a big misunderstanding ;)
