I feel like a kindred spirit with Panther fans now..

Beast Mode

There's no room for comments like this. This poster was here the whole week of the playoff game. In fact all the Seahawk's fans that were here were very classy. I feel you beast mode. The Pats have to be my most hated team in the NFL.

Well said. The Seahawk fans that came here were really nice and should be shown the same respect they gave us.

Both on a dumb mistake too. Kasay kickoff out of bounds and that horrible play call.

John Fox going for two 2-pt conversions, and getting neither led to the series of events that led to the botched kickoff even mattering to begin with.

The Patriots went for one 2-pt conversion late in the game and got it. Them doing that is the only thing that changes if the Panthers kick twice. They never would've gone for it had Fox just kicked extra points, and the Panthers would've ended up being ahead by 3 when the Patriots kicked at the end if everything else played out the same.

Since those two 2-pt conversions were dead-clock plays, you can assume that the rest of the game would've played out the same had the Panthers just kicked twice. Only difference: The Patriots would've been kicking for Overtime instead of the win.

Can't blame Fox for those. Those were the right calls.

Both fan bases suffered heartbreaking Super Bowl losses to the Pats. This is rough.

:(

Seattle deserved what it got, they shouldn't haven been playing in the Super Bowl and they shouldn't have been in the scoring position at the end. This is the ending of two stories, the old pocket QB and the decline of Seattle in the NFC. Time for a new king to rise from the south. The football God made it's decision now live with it!

Sorry man. That sucks. The only big difference is that you had the previous years super bowl win. We didn't. I am sure you all will be fine. No bridge jumping or jumping in front of trains. We're all here for you beast.

Beastmode, you are suffering through your Jimmy Clausen right now. Luckily for you, he has an outstanding team surrounding him and, unlike the Panthers, the Hawks will be somewhat competitive while they are searching for a real QB.

This is a joke, yes?

I bet you can't wait for next season with you guys favored to be back in the Super Bowl. Hopefully we get the chance to play you guys in the playoffs again. The next game in Seattle should be very entertaining though.
