Hawks DC Quinn new Falcons coach

Sorry if this was already posted, didn't see it anywhere. Just heard on NFL AM per Ian Rappaport that the Cons have hired Quinn as head coach, gave him a 5 year deal.

Out of all the NFCS, Panthers will have the biggest target on their back this year.

Hard to tell if he's any good. Seattle's defensive scheme is insanely simple. We'll see if he can replicate the success without the elite talent of the Seattle D.

X's and O's, or Jimmies and Joes?  Atlanta will need to vastly improve that defensive personnel or it will only look good on paper.

The falcon don't have the talent on defense and Seattle scheme is more about the extreme level of talent they have..and not the coach. . Really simple scheme in Seattle with great players. .the .Falcons are soft and not a problem for us....

He had already gone through 2 interviews with the Falcons before the January 25th cutoff date. Pretty sure they can negotiate a contract but just not finalize it or officially agree to one until after the SB.

I think this is only his 2nd year with Seattle.

 

The only reason I know this is because I'm a Gator fan and he was with us before that.
