Patriots Dink and Dunk offense

It is what they have been running for years. Brady is not as effective when he has to throw downfield.

But he is smart and gets the ball to the right guy more often than not so if it isn't broke.

Also part of that is by design. Kind of like a running game. They are eventually going to get your back end to move up and then you take advantage over the top

Starts at the top.  BB is a very bright football coach, he understands O as well as D, which is saying something.

Next up is Brady, very bright, good not great arm, quick release, and as accurate as all get out.

IF the Pats could draft well, they would be even more scary.  This is one of the best 15 year runs a team has ever had in the NFL.

They have been running the same offense for god knows how long, yet no one can stop them.

I think there was a stat of Brady being 1-22 on passes longer than 20 yards, its all short passes to wide open receivers, its frustrating to watch.

We run the same erhardt-perkins offense fundamentals - run the same basic play several times from multiple formations and take what the defense gives you. Where we fail, however, is that our WR routes are long and slow developing as if they were still in Chud's coryell offense.

why did i pie this...

and in the cap era, 4/6 SB in 15 years, I would consider that a modern dynasty. Teams at the core barely stay together this long.

I love their offense. Perfectly suited for their personnel. Brady can nip and tuck back there and cut you up like a plastic surgeon. Then when the D inches up he'll hit you over the top with gronk.

It's very successful for them.

Its something the NFL is moving to, ask Wilson he does it time from time and that's where his highest percentage come from, getting th ball out in less than 3 sec. Not hold the ball for 7 sec, long routes. And I like to take time to say our defense is out of date. The coverage we play is designed to give up the dink and dunk offense, not the big play. poo need to change or it'll be the 3rd year we let an offense move on us with ease and get put right out the playoffs

Precision football at its best. Very smart with shifts and dictating matchups.

Also very good at getting one on one. Then its about having players that do smart things against one on one.

I still would like to see what would happen for Cam if we had Chip Kelly.

At this point Colonel Klink would work too. The run heavy version of the WCO which is Chip, Harbaugh, Brad Childress, Kyle Shannahan, Mike Holmgren. All with some of their different styles but similar concept

WCO run heavy, lots of stretch plays, screens, YAC, precision but still smash mouth, and still plenty of downfield throws if thats your quarterback.

Thats Cam.
