Why are people acting like timing patterns are a bad thing or a crutch? Elite offenses are all about timing routes and throwing the ball where the receiver is going to be rather than where he is. One reason Cam has to throw darts into tight windows is because he often throws the ball when he sees the window rather than anticipating when the window will show up. You don't have to throw a hundred miles an hour every throw if you can anticipate. Manning has been getting it done with well below average arm strength for years now because he'll often throw the ball before the receiver is even open.

because they don't know football. They make knee jerk reactions to how they feel about a certain player. I think because that player beat their team three years in a row in both college and the pros.

He is the luckiest QB I've seen in decades but he is still a great player since he makes plays when you need it.

It all come back to .... Can Wilson win in the Playoffs on the road or neutral site without his defense and ST giving him 16+ points and giving him turnover after turnover.

 

As has been said before .. Last years SuperBowl was won without Wilson.

 

about the play ... why would you even think about throwing the ball with a timeout in your pocket, 25 seconds on the clock, and Lynch in the backfield. With that timeout .. you bust Lynch up in the middle
