McVay knew he had to have a better qb to win the super bowl. Goff at the time simply didnt have the arsenal in his game to elevate a team and put it on his back to win games. Much like Smith in SF and KC, he was a good qb but the coaches realized he was never going to be good enough. His passing ability was limited much like goff. (Insert Canales logic with Bryce) Then you can do Jimmy G. When you know you just know. Its a qb driven league and you need a dynamic talent to win in the playoffs. -

All of them are better than Bryce except for Jones and that's the only thing that matters. -

If we start turning the ball over(highly likely with Bryce) then it could get ugly. That's the only way I think it could be 20+. I do think Bryce gets yanked in the second half for Dalton, however. This is the game he loses his job to Dalton for the rest of the year. Canales was right when he said it last. Andy still gives us the best chance to win any game. I don't know what to think of KC. On the one hand, they seem to find a way in most of these games to prevail, so they obviously are a very mentally tough team(see the 49ers blowing leads left and right) but this is overwhelmingly the worst season in Mahomes career. Frankly, he has been in the bottom third in the NFL all season. That's strange.
