If you're looking for a college basketball team to root for, Orange County (UNC) is pro-Panthers, while Durham (Duke) and Wake (NC State) are pro-Steelers. I'm a little stunned at the amount of Steelers fans in eastern NC; wasn't this supposed to be Redskins country pre-Panthers? There's only 1 county out of 100 in North Carolina with more Redskins fans than Panthers and none in South Carolina.

 

Thoughts? This list goes roughly in order across NC from west to east.
