Ed Dickson to re-sign?

i like ed and want him with the team. i think he wasn't able to play the way he and we originally thought he'd be able to because of the o-line and tolbert. that being said, i'm gonna get annoyed if brandon williams just languishes on our bench until he is cut or not resigned. there's just too much there not to see if he can work out. i'd like them both but brandon needs some legit pt this next year and if ed has to go because of it then so be it.

Dickson was forced to stay in and help our OT most of the time. He wasn't utilized very much as a receiver. Can't blame our coaching staff, our on-line was so poor we had to max protect.

Sounds fine to me. I'm not sure if Dickson played well enough, but we could possibly use him instead of Brockel as a backup fullback. We could possibly create sets with three viable TE options (Olsen, Dickson, Williams) that way.

I would like to see Swole given a real opportunity to be the 2ND TE. Maybe draft a rookie in the late rounds as competition.

I realize TE  Ed Dickson had to stay in to block a lot this past season but 10 receptions,152 yards,1 touchdown,just  doesn't get it done,in my opinion. I have waited a good while for TE Brandon Williams to gain some experience and polish,then show us what he's all about. I feel it's time for him to get more playing time and maybe bring in another young TE to upgrade the position.
