Love came in late in the season...so yes he didn't get in until injuries... but i think they really like him and have planned for him to replace Cole.. He's younger and cheaper and can do a similar job to cole...

Love is a block eater like Cole.. Edwards is more of a 3tech that can do both eat blocks and pass rush. .

 

 

Edwards is much more valuable to us because he can rush the passer.

DT is pretty deep in this draft, but not so much at NT.   As much as we bring DEs inside to rush the passer on passing downs, I think a NT is more of a need.

 

According to people who claim to know more than Panther fans, Cole had a bad year.  Was blown off the ball a bit more than usual.  If I am not mistaken, he will be 35--

Unlikely. There is no way Gettleman goes through this draft with no DT. Room must be made.

I know Cole is older, but I think the fact that he plays NT gives him more longevity than a 3-tech like Edwards. 

 

Will be interesting to see which (if either) of them are back next year...
