I don't think he was awful in the Tampa game. His stat line was awful. He put some good balls in play and gave guys a chance to make plays......too many went off the hands of WRs. I didn't have a problem w/ a lot of the "bad" throws that game.

I will give him a pass since he did the unthinkable and came back from Tommy John. Who knows, we might see the guy who took the field in 07 prior to his injury this year. One can hope.

You're right he wasn't awful in that game. I had forgotten how many balls went off the hands of receivers. Thanks for reminding me about that. I still think he had a bad season.

I'm fine with the amount of TDs he had, we had an awesome running game so thats gonna eat at his Td numbers but he had way to many stupid interceptions this past year.

And yes CS, YPA is a big deal in measuring QB performance.

No SMF, it doesn't mean that TJ is "BETTER" than PM overall, it means that he performed better with those parameters.

I don't know about that......I mean, give Tom Brady some shitty defenses the past few years and he wouldn't have all those rings or wins. Football is still a team sport.....a QB shouldn't get credit for all the wins or get the blame for not winning them all. I don't see how Brees is overrated....he is considered the 3rd best QB in the game right now.
