Remember after the Philly MNF game a few years ago when Rick Reily whined and whines about Cam making them wait post game. That was the final straw for me regarding Rick.

Yeah I'll give em that he's a good writer. OJ was a helluva running back, too. but him using the MNF postgame after Cam had a big game (think he had 4 TDS) to cry and cry about Cam making precious wittle Ricky wait 10 minutes was unprofessional and made him look like an ass.

That one's more personal to us, but I think the time he was caught not knowing the camera was on telling all the other ESPN guys "make sure you mention that I was the one who broke that story" was more telling.

he's done what you said before too - but what I'm talking about is when he looked right in the camera and used his segment for a hot take. fuging crybaby. He messed his career up IMHO by moving to TV

This was one of the best interviews I've ever seen Cam do. I legit laughed out loud a few times. Apparently he was very impressive on the Rich Eisen show as well, as the show's producer tweeted "Cam Newton. Impressive.".

 

He'll be on Jim Rome today as well.
