Just found out I have low T

nothing really to be embarrassed about in my opinion...make sure you do some research and good luck with the doctor.  I do believe there are more natural ways to get your T back up over the back alley way if your doctor doesn't help you out.

Seriously though, you should get a doctor to prescribe you something. I hear low T is very fixable/easy to treat.

I know this will sound strange, but bear with me. Testosterone replacement is more a treatment for the symptoms than the overall condition.

In the last 2-3 years, doctors have made enormous leaps in the fields of neurocardiology and the endocrine system. If fattyfat needs to be prescribed anything for now, it should simply be an estrogen blocker. Low T can eventually lead to depression, lowered LDL, increased HDL (which leads to cardiac disease), calcium deficiency (which leads to loss of bone density and muscle mass), along with other conditions.

A few simple steps that could help out otherwise: sunlight. At a minimum, your daily amount of sunlight should be the equivalent of standing buck naked in the sun for 20 minutes. Increase omega-3 fatty acids intake (reduces HDL and raises LDL). Workout. And finally the weird part, actually cut back on sex and masturbation. Yes, sex gives you a temporary testosterone boost, but it releases too much in a short amount of time. Your body converts it to estrogen, which causes your man boobs to grow, your hair follicles to die, and depresses your mood.

And another weird part that I've only seen from one source so idk: a submissive attitude increases heart health and eliminates some effects of low T.

damn didn't know that about sex and testosterone.

i've noticed as i've gotten older and the more steady sex i've had the more hair started growing everywhere which i thought had to do with testosterone. my beard filled out, chest hair. I guess that has more to do with being a late bloomer. i was 5'3" my sophomore year of high school. then blew up the summer before my junior year.

Losing weight helps a lot as well as physical activity. Go for the cream over the shots while getting into shape again. The shot is great for a week then it begins to wear off noticabley. Cream keeps you steady. The big thing to watch out for with the cream is no contact 30 minutes after applied or you can transfer it to someone else which can really mess with their system. There can be a lot of factors from heredity to stress, diet, sleep patterns, etc. Keep a detailed journal of what you've done and how you've eaten and take it to the doc. It will help figure out what you are doing wrong. I was eating terribly because of a high stress job with very little sleep. Once I fixed that my levels started returning to normal.

On top of this, if you do get the cream, make sure to ask for the slowest release possible. It will maintain a steady rate and lower the risk of estrogen conversion.

Body hair is effected by testosterone. But your scalp hair gets killed off when excess testosterone is converted into estrogen. Strangely enough, estrogen is used to help regrow hair in balding transgender women people.

Well, I am married so sex about once a week if I'm lucky. My cholesterol has been high but has dropped some since my last physical.
