If we can go around 10-9 – and with our schedule, it is doable – we will end up being 29-35 when Kemba is able to return and probably still in the 8th spot (maybe a game out or so). the thing that we are "lucky" about is that All Star Week is right in the middle of Kemba's time out. So even though he will be out for 6 weeks, its more like 5 weeks

what say you?

Two points:

I have given up on Lance doing anything dramatically different from what he has already shown. Even with the injuries thst have already taken place, he still does some really, really dumb things. He just has some mind blowing turnovers from losing his dribble or trying to thread the needle when it's not necessary... And with extended minutes and one less team leader in there, I only see thst happening more. That's why I said I'm ready to move on.

And the second point... For as big as Kemba has been for us this season, I hate lengthy injuries like this because say we are in the position you project, or maybe even better than 8th when Kemba comes back... Now this team has developed chemistry and a rotation that has successfully worked for 6 weeks in his absence and now there's Kemba coming back into the fray. I honestly would prefer that he just sit the rest of the season, get his rest, and come back strong for next season.

Lance scoring 0 zero points in 20 minutes vs Spurs.  Come on.  You're getting paid that much and you can't score a point?  Even Biz would get a basket or two in that time.   What a huge disappointment.

Biz would get about 7 points, 13 rebounds 500 blocks and 1300 hustle plays.

If we can keep around a .500 record without Kemba I think we'll be in decent shape for a run at a 7 or 8 seed (ugh). Brooklyn is really bad and the Pistons lost Jennings (imagine that being a negative even in November). I see it like this:

@ Nuggets- W (They're playing really badly, I think they might be in the tank)

------------February--------------------------

@ Wizards- L

Wizards- W (We went 3-1 against them last year and they've only really improved the bench, I think we'll win one of this home and home)

@Sixers- L (It will be embarrasing, but we always have a few of those)

Pacers- W (Already beat them once with no Al and Kemba)

Pistons- W (Well coached, but a bad team)

------------Allstar break----------------------

Thunder- L (We've beaten them twice since they moved from Seattle lol)

@Mavs- W (We win stupid games sometimes, and we've beaten like 3 good teams all year)

@Bulls- L (We always have close games against the Bulls, and we lose 99% of the time)

@Celtics - W (They're not very good, so we should win)

------------March------------------------------

@Orlando- W (We lost to these fugers twice at home. That's stupid)

Lakers- W (They stink, and we already lost to them once)

@Nets- L (They give us problems, and we lose to bad teams)

Raptors- W (For whatever reason we always beat the Raptors)

@Pistons- L (This time the well coached team gets us)

Wizards- L (I don't see 2 wins against them with no Kemba)

Kings- L (We like to lose stupid games we shouldn't. Perfect candidate)

Bulls- L (See above)

Total: 9-9

It's an 18 game stretch, so 9-9 is what I got when I recounted.

That is so weird. I counted like 3x and only saw 8 Ws but I musta been blind. Either way, if we can be at .500 or a game or 2 behind i will be happy

Edit: im on mobile and it was the back to back with the Wiz that musta messed me up.

VS Wizards - W (at home Wizards should beat the Wizards again they are @ Atlanta in between)

@ 76ers- W

VS Pacers- W

VS Pistons- W

@ Celtics- W

MARCH:

@Magic- W

VS Lakers- W

@ Nets- W

VS Raptors - W (We own the Raptors, even the year we went 7-59 we beat the Raptors at least twice)

@ Pistons- W

VS Wizards - W(We have owned the Wizards as of late)

VS Kings- W

VS Bulls - L

We probably lose one of the Wizards or Raptors games, and at least one other game we shouldn't, but I could see us being around 33-31 or at least above .500 by the time Kemba comes back.
