Have you played with the Panthers Oline in Madden? Its Kalil and then UDFA turds around him. That's was happened. Norwell, Turner and Remmers brought massive stability late in the season.

I love Ryan but he has never been a physcial guy. He can get pushed around but excels in position blocking and second level blocking where he has been elite.

Brenston Buckner used to always point out how for his cap number Kalil should be a Max Unger type of dominating get behind type of drive blocker. I am not dissing Kalil but he is not a game changer. He is that glue, vet leader guy who has some elite traits and some avg traits the team needs.

...I was reading it, and saw Kalil was in the "Average" category. So I looked at some film from this season, and yes there were moments he got burned on double teams, but also just pure slip ups that I haven't seen from him in years past.

 

I still think he should've been listed as "Good".
