Fox Sports three round Mock for the Carolina Panthers

At this point, none of us really have a good idea who G-man is going to draft.  I would think that G-man is going to look at every prospect on a case by case basis.  As for DGB, the dude is lauded to have as much talent and perhaps more upside than any receiver in the draft. I don't believe that G-man will dismiss DGB out of hand just because of Hardy or Rae Carruth.  That just wouldn't be a good way to make decisions regarding personnel with outstanding talent and game changing impact (at a position of need, no less).  He is going to do his due diligence and investigate to see whether DGB's character really improved over the last year, check the kid out at the Combine, bring him in for some interviews and workouts, and make up his mind about the risk-reward-value equation regarding DGB from there.

Watch! DGB will be brought into Charlotte for a workout (unless some earth shattering negativity surfaces in the meantime).

I just looked at video of DGB. Yeah I will take a chance on him with the 25th if the panthers do their due diligence and he has gotten his life under control. What a talent and he is a huge, 6'6". This is potentially a Calvin Johnson type of talent. These guys don't grow on trees. This guy is a stud receiver and a potential NFL superstar. It will be interesting to see what Gett does if he is sitting there.

We all make mistakes, this kid made a few of them. As a man you have to learn from them and and be humbled by them. DGB is an elite talent, if we picked him at 25 our WR core would essentially be unstoppable for the foreseeable future. With that being said what the GM's and coaches will be looking for from this young man in interviews is how has he grown as a man. Has he learned?, has he matured? With a locker room and FO like ours I think DGB comes to Carolina and instantly gets taken under the wing of Greg Olsen or Jericho and learns how to be a consummate professional. If he's there @ 25, draft him!

Lotulelei was an absolute no-brainer. From listening to G-man, KB was an absolute no-brainer as well. Remember how fast the cards were handed in? I just think that we got lucky, honestly. Plus, if you look at how we nabbed Short and Ealy in the second when we could have easily drafted for need, I really do take G-man at his word about nabbing the BPA.

Well star was a no brainer yeah but at the time KB wasn't as much of a no brainer. But here's hoping the board falls the right away where we get a top tackle

Anyways Beckham could be a generational type talent. He's kept his nose clean recently so I can only judge him on that. We all have a past. I think if he's there you've got to take the leap and hope that coaching and his maturity in general will lead him to a long and healthy NFL career. Remember Randy Moss? That guy had tons of questions too. This guy has been called the best wr prospect since Moss and Calvin Johnson. I don't think you can pass that up. That's just me though and i'm obviously not the GM. But I would hope Gettleman wouldn't write someone off because of a few hash marks on his report card.
