More to the picks when you click the linky.

DGB looks like Dez Bryant to me. Who knows, he will have to do some real selling that hes seen the error of his ways.

I still like Jaelon Strong. At this point we have no clue who will make an Odell jump or DaRick Rogers tumble.

Gentlemen made references to players that show improvement throughout the year, showing up in big moments, and have that want to for improvement.

So watch the stats and highlights and compare late in the season and see who fits that bill like Benjamin did.

The tackles I know nothing about. Scouting reports collectively are usually pretty right though.

As far as BPA,.... every draft pick we have taken under Gentlemen has also been a need whether immediately or the future.

what do we need now that will make an impact now. Those 3-4 choices, slot the players in BPA and there you go. Thats your 1st-3rd rounds.

4th and higher you look for the same except instead of make an impact now, it maybe next year and it may be just as the role player expectation, anything more is a bonus.

Slot BPA out of the players that play a need and fit the culture and character you want.

Its not a square. BPA without slotting according to your needs, character, how they rise in big moments etc,..

Otherwise we truly would have 3 running backs, quarterbacks, linebackers etc even if you were stacked taken.

That would just be square and silly.

So if Gentlemen says we need WR DE OT CB SS OG RB for example.

The players in those will be slotted BPA according to his criteria.

So it is BPA, but BPA for YOU not Mel Kiper,....

According to the source I read - it's because she wouldn't cooperate with the investigation. So you don't know if she didn't cooperate willingly. Regardless, it was the final straw for this dude who has more arrests than he does full college FB seasons. I wouldn't touch this kid with a first round pick.

You one of those UNC fans who only pull for us during BB season? You seem to be very defensive regarding DGB and Sooner football.

Graduated from OU in December. I still watch UNC in both football and basketball. Don't pay attention as much as I use to.

I just think he has little in common with Olsen. Just think he would prefer to take advice from someone more similar to him. You guys can delude yourself to think he would be carrying Olsen's jockstrap around.

Olsen would have more in common then you think. Being a hurricane

I know his philosophy is BPA and all that, but our two first round picks under gettleman have both been at our biggest needs at the time, something to think about

Most everyone picked us to pick up a tackle last year. We went wide receiver instead which was a need but not our biggest need. Look at this year, everyone will have us taking a left tackle yet common wisdom is that there won't be a left tackle good enough for a first round pick. Ealy in the second last year was only a need when Hardy screwed up. Otherwise it was considered an area of strength

Both in 2013 and 2014 we went with BPA not based on need. Star was considered by many to be a top 5 pick until their were medical, concerns which proved false in 2013.

The only thing that will keep DGB on our radar is that he hasn't been in trouble lately. I do believe that he will be one of our 30 visits and our staff will do extensive research and interviews on him. He may even get a visit to see JR. If he falls to us and the opportunity is there. I believe our staff is going to want to have all the information available whether they select him or pass on him.

Nah were not touching Green-Beckham.  If it was just the weed, sure.  (Side note, why hasn't Josh Gordon signed with the Broncos yet?)  But after Greg Hardy and the speech JR gave, no way we're touching ANY player with a history of hitting women.

Lotulelei was an absolute no-brainer.  From listening to G-man, KB was an absolute no-brainer as well.   Remember how fast the cards were handed in?   I just think that we got lucky, honestly.  Plus, if you look at how we nabbed Short and Ealy in the second when we could have easily drafted for need, I really do take G-man at his word about nabbing the BPA.
