Actually out coach we was.  The Patriots pretty much let us score early so they would have enough time to drive down the field and kick the field goal.  I was pissed Fox fell for that.

Game was way too close for anyone to be either, but if people got outplayed/out coached, their defense would be almost at the top of the list because Jake Delhomme put 29 points on their collective asses

 

Should've been 31 if not for Fox's dumbass 2-point conversion attempts... which led to the Pats going for 2 and getting it.

 

Man it stings knowing even with the muffed kick off and Vinatieri FG that game should've been 31-31 and went to OT at the end at the very least.

 

Why Fox decided to randomly start chasing points for no reason I have no idea.  It fuged us in the end though.

Our Super Bowl was REALLY close, and it came down to plays being made.  Poo happens.

 

As far as Bruschi, of course he's going to defend his team.  He's also going to get upset because he's a former football player, and you're disrespecting his team with what he perceives as sour grapes.

 

You know what my response to Teddy's anger would be?  So why has there been several incidents of "smoke" if there's not fire?  It can't all be happenstance?  The Pats have pushed the envelop and the rules for years.  Sometimes they push it too far and get bit.  Is this another situation of that?
