Teddy Bruschi unloads on Hurney and Panthers

Bruschi is one of the most overrated players I've ever seen in the NFL. Easy to be in the right place at the right time to make a play when you are handed the opposition's playbook.

This is the same guy a few years ago on NFL Live ADMITTED that he would be getting extra punches in and laying on a RB's injured leg. Forgot which RB he was talking about.

This came out a couple days ago and the media has already responded with their own fair share of backlash as to why he would defend cheating.

Don't feel obligated to respond is what I'm saying-people are done with New England's crap.

Cheater cheater chowder eaters.

no link huh

i was going to mention that, but then i saw it was bleacher report and was happy he didn't.

as to bruschi...what else is he going to say? admit that the reason they won was because they spied on us and recorded everything and knew what we were going to do?

and btw, cheating at an organizational level the way that they did is a bigger deal than a few guys on the OL using peds without the organization's knowledge.

what's worse? a few dirty players on a team or a team that uses dirty tactics to win?

Yeah I hear ya. There's nothing that you and I can do about it anyway. Trying to change or fix crap that you have absolutely ZERO control over will drive you insane. This dude I work with last week (who is a big Bills fan and hates Brady and NE) came in bitching about it and I straight up told him ...dude were they knowingly cheating? probably. Documented cheaters. But what is the NFL gonna do? make them replay the game or cancel the SB? get a grip man!

    • I don't have that stat available - https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/nfl-rookie-receiving-yards-leaders-2024 The number was discussed here and it was normal among *all WR. It just felt more cause a couple of those drops were back breakers. I know one drop he caught 95% of the ball, I think it was the eagles drop.  I think you always look at the whole side, he had a good rookie yardage and TD year with some poorly timed drops. He can improve and he can can slump. Sure he could have played better, same time he could have played much worse too. He was the 32nd player drafted, not some top 5-10 savior. I thought he had good rookie year with ups and downs. Knowing he did so with lack of reps due to injuries and he kept playing with questionable QB play, that looks to me like he can improve his level of play. Not on the stats either, he looked good blocking too, many big gains he was helping with down field blocks.
