Yeah...You're not gonna like this (comments from Bobby Wagner)

They were 7-9 two years in a row before putting together this run.

They have been good 2 years so they are far from a dynasty

They are better than this board gives them credit for. They've made the playoffs 9 of the past 12 years. They've made 3 Super Bowls in the past 10 years. Made the Playoffs 4 of the past 5 years. On and on. You compare them to us and it's really nothing but embarrassing.

We need to change that. What does our "rivalry" mean to the Seahawks? 5 wins.

Bobby Wagner is an overrated prick, but he is right.

We have never cost them anything by losing to them.

Just can't help but think that DWill fumble was "the butterfly who flapped his wings" and changed history.

It was a killer, but they had so many fluky wins last year (against the Texans, Rams, and Bucs no less, among others) that it was just their time in history. We all remember the many fluky losses we had, especially in the first two years in the RR/Cam era, and I have no doubt our pendulum swing will be longer and grander, perhaps starting in 2015.

Their front office and coaching staff is superior to ours and until that changes, nothin the players do will matter.

THAT'S the sad truth.

News flash- Hurney is gone. They had a major head start from 2010, but since GMan arrived would you trade our drafts for theirs? That would be h*ll no.

Joe Person is a dipshit for asking the question. I heard the way he laid it out live on NFLN, it was a poorly worded question with no context. Bobby Wagner has every right to be annoyed by it. Person has no business asking about the Panthers in that time and place and I'm embarrassed he's there representing us.

I can see Wagner's point. We haven't beaten them in years. Wagner is to Luke Kuechly what Jon Beason was to Patrick Willis. An under appreciated Super Star.

Oh god dammit I had no idea that it was person that sparked this.

Good ole Peterson, a man who's representing Charlotte with dignity and grace!

Wagner is correct.  Until we start beating them, it's not rivalry.  We can be the upstart, try harders until we beat them. If we beat them a couple of times, then we can start the rivalry talk.

Let's hope we start beating them!

While I agree to an extent the NFC West was pretty much the equivalent of the NFC South this year for 9 of those 12 years. They are a really good team but this version of their good team has only been around for the last 3 years.

Amen to that. Their franchise as a whole went longer than we've even been in existence between playoff wins and very nearly moved to LA in the mid/late 90s before one of the richest men alive bought the team. In the grand scheme of things they should feel great with the high they're on but we should also feel just as good or better with what is to come.

I'm surprised at the level headed talk in here...

I agree, you can't get mad at that.  They have straight owned us.  We play mistake free for 56-58 minutes and then we poo the bed and they go home happy with another victory.  The playoffs went a little differently but meh.  Our time is coming.
