I initiated with 1 pm to handle your cap problem discretely instead of putting you on full blast in public and watching you get $10 knocked off your cap and having to give up some of the guys you already signed.

Should've gotten back in on Maclin after that, but I wasn't sure given the circumstances.

Similarly the Rams will sign Torrey Smith for $16 (I'm assuming Chuck still had cap room when he bid me up from $8 to $16).
