Hurney on Pats: Culture of Cheating

Did anyone mention to Hurney the Panthers offensive line being roided up for the superbowl?

From the article:

Hurney made it clear the Panthers weren't completely innocent of violating rules during their Super Bowl year. He brought up a report that came out after the season which said several Carolina players bought steroids from a South Carolina physician.

Among those cited in the report were three of the five starting offensive linemen.

"That was wrong," Hurney said. "The organization didn't know anything about it, and we took steps and we addressed that. We weren't going to put up with that. [Team owner] Jerry Richardson wasn't going to put up with that.

Hey you fuging idiots that are talking about the Panthers o-line. First of all, it was 3 awful linemen and our punter. That was the extent of the "cheating". Don't go on like Fox or Hurney or anyone else knew about this stuff.

Also, do any of you also think the Seahawks' title is tainted with all of their steroid abuse? Sherman, Bruce Irvin, Brandon Browner...the Seahawks lead the lead in PED suspensions since Carroll took over, yet I hear more of you supposed Panthers fans calling US into question over them? Go f yourselves.

It amazes me that our former GM speculates about the possibility of the opposing team cheated against us during the SuperBowl and "so called Panther Fans" run to the Patriots defense like scorned teenage girls defending their man crush. Why not come out of the closet, put on that Pats hoodie with the sleeves cut off, and become a Patriots fan? I'm all for looking at both sides of the story but some of this sh*t is ridiculous.

Convenient nobody will ask Hurney about that, though.

Read back a page...

... and there's a clear difference between a player or group of players doing PED's and an entire organization from the top down knowingly bending and breaking rules repeatedly.

Same with the Saints, the coaches and staff were the ones perpetrating the rule breaking.

If the Panthers were involved in something like this (bounties or illegal filming or whatever) I'd call for the entire staff to be fired.

If coaches knew about PED's, they should be (should have been) fired.
