What a bullshit analogy. By all accounts, K does it the right way and is a generally admirable guy. Neither of those things can be used to describe Belichick.

K has used the rules to give his team an edge. The flop, the kickouts on 3 pointers, the leg hugging and hand checking. Perfect analogy. K abuses the rules and uses them til someone just can't take it anymore...k is the single reason for the ring around the basket designed to penalize undercuts and flops from secondary defenders.

I try and try and I just cant. I know this is Panther blasphemy and a unwritten rule that you have to hate the Patriots if you are a Panther fan, whats harder to admit is that I might actually respect them. I will be honest, I hate the Seahawks way WAY more. I will admit it, I know its crazy and I dont even know why but I like the smugness and arrogance of Bellicheck and Brady, I like how they carry themselves.

I respect the organization, I like how they have this truely natural and calm confidence to them, I like how greatness is just routine to them. They dont run their mouths, they dont come off as fake, they are the poster child of how a perrenial contender should be. To Brady and Bellicheck, making the playoffs is just a given, every season they approach just like eating breakfast or brushing their teeth, they dont have a fake, QB like Wilson that has to cry and get emotional, they dont have cry baby WRs that call out fans for doubting them, they dont have a CB that has to run his mouth over and over and over again.

They simply just show up, and are great and go home, No fluff, no drama, greatness is just so natural to them. The Seahawks on the other hand are like the hot girl that was obese in High School and she has such low self esteem she has to keep telling people how hot she is and needs that constant reassurance, they have an inferiorty complex.

I know im in the minority in Panther land, but the Patriots just dont rile me up like most other Panther fans. Yes I know we had a devastating loss in the SB to them but live and let live. And for just the SB only, go Patriots!

there's this one very awkward kid at work who is a pats fan. he started in on the panthers and i started talking about the pats history of cheating. he said something about the refs being the problem and i mentioned that the refs had nothing to do with spygate and the kid just had this puzzled look on his face...i mean much more puzzled than usual. i said, "you do remember spygate? you know how they used to film practices of teams they were playing and how they did it in probably all three superbowls they won and got into a lot of trouble for it and they haven't won one since they got caught?" and he had no clue whatsoever.

 

the OP sounds a lot like that kid. no clue that it was the pats who stole a lombardi from us and from two other teams.

 

they could have been great without cheating, but it wasn't enough. the pat way is to use any extreme means necessary to dominate, whether ethical or not. whether within the rules or not.

 

it's the 'or not' that will forever taint their *dynasty.

People hate them because our teams all suck and they win all the time,....with Nobodys.

 

Who else takes others cast aways, people that were garbage-- Lagarrette Blount garbage, quit on the Steelers, but then they motivate him to look like Beast Mode part 2,... Lafell goes over 1k and looks great after he was an overrated backup at best for us.  Randy Moss had seen his better days go away and then explodes,...

 

There for 2 or 3 years it was Welker, Edelman, Vereen, and others making up a team of Smurfs-- and no secondary-- and they still got deep playoff runs and to Superbowls,..  changing from 3-4 to 4-3 and back and dont miss a beat while others try it and cant win 7 games.

 

So yeh-- I hate them, hate that nobody Brady is probably the best ever, not a 1st round pick qb like Stafford or others,.... hate that smug hoodie Belicheat wears,...hate they are from Smug Boston that looks down on the South like we are all like we have the worst education system in America,......
