I don't know what's worse, the "evil empire" of the Patriots, or the 12th Bag and Russell Wilson proclaming that God made him throw those four interceptions just so he could bring his team back for the win.

 

Throw in Doug Baldwin's pitiful post-game rant for good measure....

 

 

 

right now, just about everything about the Seahawks kind of makes me want to puke

To me the Patriots are like Ryan Gosling or Channing Tatum of the NFL, you just want to hate them so bad because women think they are so damn sexy but you just cant hate them for some reason because deep down you know they are solid actors

 

I would have accepted Leonardo Dicapprio, Brad Pitt, Jake Gyllenhall, Bradly Cooper, or Matthew McConaghey... But Channing fuging Tatum can't act for poo dude. Sure he was funny in the Jump street movies, down right hilarious. I've grown to respect the guy because he has a great sense of humor about himself... But he cannot act.

As for the Pats, I'm peanut butter and jealous. I WISH we were as well run as they are. I WISH we had a coach with balls of steel like Belicheck and I WISH we expected the playoffs yearly like they do... But we are not them and I hate them for all their success.

 

But I do respect them... and as much as it hurts to admit it deep down in my soul, Brady very well could be the GOAT...

Gosling works for you analogy.  Tatum is more like the Jaguars, both are downright awful at their jobs but are still profitable.

I might be in the super minority here, but I don't hate either the Patriots or the Seahawks.  I'll always hold a bit of a grudge against them because of the Superbowl.  But we lost fair and square.  It happens.  I'm jealous of their success, and I dislike the Pats fans that take it for granted.  But I don't particularly dislike anyone in their organization.  And this "deflate-gate" scandal is just something I can't be bothered to care about.  I've tried, but I just can't do it.

 

The Seahawks, on the other hand, have always been my second favorite team because I have a lot of family in the Seattle area.  I do admit though that all the obnoxious media coverage and their insufferably uninformed bandwagon fans have made me like them less, and it was never like I really rooted for them hard to begin with.  But I also like them because none of that is the team's fault.  People who call Russell Wilson fake are just the epitome of haters.  Call his game overrated, sure.  You can make a substantial argument for that (one that I agree with).  But to call him fake as a person is just talking out of your ass.  Plus when you add in the fact that their team has a really similar makeup to ours, I think that bodes well for our future, and I look forward to the day that we knock them off their perch.
