Lafell is a head scratcher. Don't understand that when he produced the way he did this year but man having a fifth round comp pick is nice when we got somebody like bene last year. Let's hope we repeat. At the very least a Klein type talent is good for ST and spot starts

 

Lafell = Cotchery so there would never be a comp pick for either of them. After that it depends on who matches up with Mike Mitchell, which we don't have so we get his comp pick.

eh, I just prefer Mitchell's speed, but since we're probably dropping DecCoud, I'd kinda like to see MM on ST, if we got him back.

Might be wishful thinking. The draft class looks thin at quality safeties as far as I've heard. As far as free agency, if we're going to spend $$$, my impression is Gettleman would rather rent some hog mollies for the O-Line so that Cam isn't killed again next year and not want to re-sign with us.

can't trade the comps, but since we have them, we could trade our 6 and 7 to get another 5th.

If we did that, and do get the 5th comp, we'd have 3.  With Getty, I'm liking the odds.  of course,

with 3, we could try to get another pick in the 4th.
