Someone said it earlier, but I hope Neal is getting those minutes in an effort to trade him. His "+/-" is always...well... "-"

A lot of people talk about Lance messing up offensive flow...but at least he can pass.

All Neal has done lately is take contested jump shots. His defense has been mediocre, he does not create on offense, and he has been the "black hole" of the second team offense.

I suppose Clifford might be giving him the minutes to try to instill confidence, and I hope Neal gets that shot back, because we need it and he is killing us out there without it.

Lance is somewhat like Cam- you have to take the good with the bad.

Lance makes some insane highlight plays with his crossover and passing. Then sometimes when doing it he commits dumb turnovers. Just like Cam makes ridiculous plays when he holds onto the ball and scrambles an eternity. Then sometimes he takes an unnecessary sack or forces a bad throw.

Ypu can't change the way they play, it's what makes them good. Cam really does a good job limiting the bad. That's what Lance needs to improve. His mistakes are too often right now.

Biz Per 36

57% Fg, 9 Pts, 13 Reb, 3 Blk, 2 Tov

16.0 PER

It's gonna take $7-9mil per year at 4+ years to sign Biz long-term. He's still only 22. Cho has a big decision coming this offseason with Biz & Big Al. You can't pay Big Al $13mil and give Biz $7+ to play limited minutes as a backup.

I don't see anyway Big Al opts out of his player option. Nobody else is giving him $13mil for a season or a long term deal. Don't extend him either. Lock Biz up long-term and trade Big Al next year at the deadline. He'll have great value, assuming he stays healthy.

If the FO commits to Biz, which they absolutely should, it forces the FO to then address the wings once again because he's still a work in progress and that's being kind offensively.

A true stretch four like a Ryan Anderson type should also be a priority. As optimistic as we can be about our draftees right now, offensively together they are still a train wreck. Putting up historic numbers defensively should get you easy wins.

As far as Al is concerned, let's hope he sees this offseason as his last shot at any kind of long term deal and opts out.

What could've, wouldve, should've been...

Kemba Walker

Anthony Davis

Bismack Biyombo

AD-Biz combo would average nearly 30 Reb 8 Blk a game and be an all-time great defensive combo.

Offensively Kemba and AD would've wrecked poo with Biz cleaning up on the offensive glass.

Sigh. Maybe MJ will pull out a miracle and bring in AD as a FA.

Only it wouldn't have been Biz. It would have been Al and we would be playing just like last year with 10x the skill playing McBob's role.

For a team that needs to get out of cap hell and needs to start making the playoffs, New Orleans is one of the few destinations where Al could fit because of AD's presence. Perhaps we could swing an Anderson-Al swap of some kind.

Al is severely being underrated by some of the posters on this board.

Just think back, up til three years ago Charlotte hadn't seen a legit post presence since Okafor and it really hurt us.

I can guarantee you that if Kemba comes back down to earth, Biz won't be able to carry the load offensively like Al can. He (Biz) a a great hustle player that deserves 20 minutes a game. However, until he develops a jump shot and a post game he's still a 6th/7th man type of guy.

You can't have three solely defensive players on the court (Henderson, MKG, Biz).

This isn't the college game and some people on this board need to recognize that.

It's just because he's been bad this year. Hopefully he'll start playing better when he works his way back. But Jefferson will always be a guy that puts up stats on a bad team. Some guys are just like that, and I've came to the conclusion that he is one of them. Now all that aside, our real problem is our perimeter play. You pretty much have to have 2 out of the 3 guys able to shoot in today's NBA. And we have one, kinda. Kemba is still a little bit streaky, and he's the best we have.
