well this has gone far better than expected so thank you huddle for that!!!!  LOL

oh...and one more reason to love me...I share your dislike of the taints and the falcons...and for those that have been here less than 10 years...this place actually had me wearing a Steve Smith jersey at BOA against them falcons!

I have photos of that .....  with my daughter on your shoulders  :startle:  (if you remember, that was mostly my expression as I stayed glued to you with my arms out to catch her in case she fell off)

i like the seahawks. pete carroll is a little annoying but i'm just mad we're stuck with ronnie ronnie no balls. russell wilson is annoying crying on camera but i respect his game. i fuging love richard sherman and that defense. i think the 12th man is a phenomenal marketing effort that's a little annoying when taken up by loud bandwagoners.

honest question, and I know that's never a real good idea here on the huddle, but what the hell!

how is it possible for panther fans to hate the Seahawks and their fans? (myself not included of course)

go

There's a lot of Seahawk fans popping out of caskets and sh*t here in So-Cal with some very new Russell Wilson jerseys. That's why.

I don't mind actual real Seahawks fans so much. They seem like decent people outside of their love for mediocre game manager QBs, terrible coffee and depressing weather. Really it's the hoard of obnoxious bandwagon douchebags that I can't stand.

I really think there's this hoard of bandwagon asshats that meet up and decide together which bandwagon they're gonna jump on and for right now it seems like the Seahawks are it. I picture a big town meeting type get together where all the bandwagon fugnuts vote to see which team they're all gonna suddenly claim die hard status for. Maybe a few even stand up and give speeches trying to sway votes for their particular bandwagon candidate, I don't know.

Either way, until this league of chugglefugs lose interest and wonder off to the next bandwagon... well you know...

Personally I do not hate them at all and really like most of what they are about.  I like their players and coach and love the fact that they win with defense in an age where the NFL is continually changing the rules in an effort to make that impossible.

I do not hate them for bandwagon fans because that is just the nature of the beast.  Whoever wins has bandwagon fans.  They make up 10% of the fanbase but make 90% of the noise.  I do not root against them for this reason though because even if the bandwagon team loses they just go root for someone else.

The 12th man crap is the one thing that annoys the hell out of me though.  Seahawk fans are not, never have been, and never will be the 12th man, nor will any other NFL team.  The 12th man is a Texas A&M Aggie fan.  It is a tradition with roots going back nearly a century and is so much cooler than Seattle or any other team that has used the moniker.  The way Seattle uses it seems born out of arrogance to me.

The "12th" man is an attempt to claim their fans are some of the best fans around the nfl and I don't believe they are close.

I'd put them behind the fanbases of the Steelers, Packers, Bears, Chiefs, Browns, Bills, Cowboys, Redskins, Eagles, Giants, Jets, 49ers and Ravens.

They..........are probably at the rank of some of the  fanbases in our division.   The Panthers for example.  We have a ton of fans that show up in full support of the Panthers,  only when the Panthers are winning...  when the Panthers are losing,  a lot of those fans slink back into the shadows.
