Don't get me wrong I wanted to win. But I couldn't help but smile even after losses. 2010 was just soooo bad offensively watching that young baller tear the league a new asshole was amazing.

And then luke getting put at the Mike and destroying everyone. When he leveled Pryor I was like damn we got two special pieces here.

Rivera could have losing season just like this year and if he somehow makes the playoffs and gets a win he will again keep his job.

Why does every "next season" have to be labeled as the "most important ever?" Seems like this thread comes up every offseason.

 

I realize the NFL more than any other pro sports league in America is all about instant gratification, but the Panthers have stability and the look of a consistent contender for the first time in franchise history. Asking whether or not a season is going to be the "most important ever" makes it sound like our window is going to slam shut at any moment like it did for the Broncos last week and the Saints this season. Obviously there are no guarantees, but, thanks to the work done in the front office, our window should just be getting started.

I think the 10-11 offseason was the most important I can remember. Drafting a franchise QB...bringing in a new HC to replace the most successful coach in team history.. etc
