Fox and Chudzinski?

Mr. Scot

Probably would work just like Rivera and Chud but better.

Exactly. Ron was a 1st year head coach with absolutely no idea how to manage things. I've said since we let him go that Chud could be an incredible OC if he had a strong personality at HC who could keep his silliness under thumb. And that's exactly what Fox is.

It's really silly to think that a guy who can convince three NFL franchises to hire him as a head coach won't play to the strengths of what he has.  In Carolina he inherited Chris Weinke, is it any wonder he wanted to run the ball?  Anyone remember him working with Henning to bring the Wildcat into the 21st century?  In Denver, he inherits a team led by Tebow, and his first year the Broncos lead the league in rushing.  Then they get Manning, so they proceed to be among the league leaders in passing for the next two years.  This year, they were among the leaders again until Manning's whatever gets hurt/old/conspiracy and he leans on the running game.

Honestly, I don't think Fox really cares HOW it gets done, so long as it does get done and his defense gets plenty of time to rest.  He's going to tell Chud to get the most out of what he has and let him do so until and unless Chud becomes so predictable that he has to step in (like he did with Davidson).  It could be a really good hire for him.

Fox wanted Weis here in 02. Money was a sticking point simply because for Weis to leave NE, he was going to make more than Fox.

Remember that well.

Would be very interesting to see how Fox could do with the OC he really wanted.

RT @danwiederer: Bears hire Dave Magazu to become their new O-line coach.

Wouldn't be surprised for most of the O staff to move over except Studesville.

Denver kept Tyke Tolbert.

wonder if Chris Harris will stay in Chicago since he's familiar (if not, I know there's no opening for a third-tier here but I'd still take him)

Don't know. We've already got an assistant DB coach.

They no longer have a dedicated safeties coach though (Fox had Mike Gillhammer in that role as I recall).

Wilks is officially listed as the 'passing defense coordinator' now if that makes any difference.
