NASCAR is awesome but the HOF idea was dumb as fugg. NASCAR is something you either grow up with or dont, so i dont try and argue with those people who think its "just going around in circles".

A tour through Penske racing is 10,000 times more interesting than the HOF. Maybe if you could see a crew build a racecar and practice on tracks from a computer program to simulate the west coast tracks it could grab a non Nascar fan like myself.

I agree, I've done it! (don't do RP experience though, they won't let you pass). People think it's just like driving down the interstate at 85mph. It is intense and takes a lot more fortitude than people realize.

Dying sport or not, the HOF is already dead. Say what you want about the Panthers/Richardson taking public money, but they atleast positively impact thousands every Sunday and throughout the year on the form of jobs and public outreach.

I went to the HOF once out of curiousity. Got inside about 45 minutes before closing time. Saw everything. Twice. Left 20 minutes before closing time.
